How to choose the right software
The general league-software checklist applies to basketball, but a few details deserve extra attention.
Courts inside a venue. Basketball leagues often run two or three games at once in the same gym. Your software should treat each court as its own schedulable space, or you will be stuck with workarounds.
Stat depth. Basketball players check their numbers. At minimum, track points, rebounds, and assists per player, and publish leaderboards. Players share them, which markets your league for free.
