Ask about your setupDoes LeagueArc build the box score from the plays?
Yes. The scorer records each play, and the line score and the batting, pitching, and fielding stats update together. Box-score stats can’t be typed in separately, so they always match the plays.
Can I set a run rule?
Yes. Turn it on in League Settings and choose the lead and the inning it starts from; the default is 10 runs after 5 innings. When your rules are enforced, scoring stops at the run rule until the scorer completes the final review; otherwise the scorer sees a warning.
Can LeagueArc track pitch counts and rest days?
Yes. Set a per-game pitch limit, a daily limit, and rest thresholds. LeagueArc checks each pitcher’s recent games and either warns the scorer or blocks the play, depending on whether your rules are display only or enforced.
How are baseball standings ranked?
By winning percentage, then wins, then your tiebreakers: head-to-head, run differential, and runs allowed by default. A tied game can’t be finalized unless your league allows ties.
What lineup and substitution rules can I use?
Set the number of batting slots, a standard or continuous order, the DH format, starter re-entry, courtesy runners, and pitcher re-entry. The scorebook records pinch hitters, pinch runners, defensive changes, and pitching changes.
Do I have to score every play?
No. A game can be finished with just the final score, and the public page then shows the result without an empty inning grid.
Do scorekeepers need an app?
No native app is required. Baseball scorebook and game controls run in the browser; scorekeepers should test the configured rules before opening day.
Can I import my existing schedule?
Yes. LeagueArc supports reviewed spreadsheet imports for schedules and other common league data. The importer validates rows and shows issues before records are created.
