Choose Baseball when you create the league: softball leagues run on LeagueArc’s baseball setup. Then set the innings, batting slots, and lineup rules for your format.
Can everyone on the roster bat?
Yes. Set up to 30 batting slots and choose a continuous order so the whole roster bats. Courtesy runners and starter re-entry can be turned on too.
Can I play seven innings with a run rule?
Yes. Seven innings is the default. You can add a run rule with your own lead and starting inning, choose whether extra innings are played, and decide whether ties count.
Are softball player stats tracked?
Yes, when games are scored in the scorebook. Hits, runs, RBIs, walks, home runs, and fielding stats come from the plays, and leaderboards show AVG, OBP, and OPS. ERA uses the nine-inning baseball convention.
What happens when a game is rained out?
Postpone a single game or every game on a washed-out date. Postponed games keep their teams, and LeagueArc suggests makeup dates without creating new double-bookings.
Is there a printable softball scoresheet?
Yes. The free scoresheet library has a softball sheet with seven-inning grids, ten batting slots, line scores, and pitching totals.
Do scorekeepers need an app?
No native app is required. Softball leagues score in the browser-based baseball scorebook on a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Can I import my existing schedule?
Yes. LeagueArc supports reviewed spreadsheet imports for schedules and other common league data. The importer validates rows and shows issues before records are created.
