How it works

  1. List your teams, best first

    Type them in seed order, or paste a list into the first box. Move teams up or down to fix the order.

  2. Build the bracket

    Seed 1 meets the lowest seed. With an uneven field, the top seeds get byes into round two.

  3. Click the winners

    Each pick moves a team on. Made a mistake? Undo it, or clear every winner and start the results again.

  4. Print, share or save

    Print or save a PDF, copy a share link, download a CSV, or email yourself a copy.

Good to know

  • Single elimination only: one loss and a team is out. There is no double elimination or third-place game.
  • A share link opens a copy of the bracket as it was when you copied it. It is not a live page that updates.
  • Your bracket is saved in this browser. To move it to another computer, save a draft file and open it there.

Questions

What kind of bracket does this make?

Single elimination, where one loss knocks a team out. It does not make double-elimination or round-robin brackets; for round robin, use the free round robin generator.

How many games are in a single-elimination bracket?

Always one fewer than the number of teams, because every game knocks out one team and only the champion is left. 8 teams play 7 games, 16 play 15 and 32 play 31.

What happens if my team count is not 4, 8, 16 or 32?

The bracket grows to the next of those sizes and the top seeds get byes into round two. A 12-team bracket, for example, gives seeds 1 to 4 a bye.

Can I change the bracket after building it?

Yes. Rename or reorder teams and build again; the old bracket stays on screen until you do. Winner picks can be undone or cleared, and changing an early winner clears any later result that no longer makes sense.

Does the share link update as games finish?

No. The link holds a copy of the bracket as it was when you copied it, so it is not a live synchronized public page. Copy a new link after you enter more winners. In LeagueArc, a published bracket updates as games are scored.

Can I print a blank bracket?

Yes. Open “Blank brackets to print” and choose 4, 8, 16 or 32 teams. Fill in the names first or print it with numbered seeds, on US Letter or A4.

Is it really free?

Yes. Building, printing, sharing and downloading a bracket for 2 to 32 teams is free, with no account. LeagueArc plans add live scoring, schedules, standings and public league pages.
